Something Awesome
Just thought I’d let you know what I’ve been up to lately. Well, surprising as it may seem I’ve been working on a collaboration with Andrew “Garbage Day” Miller of Something Awful. Yes , one time adversaries now team up to create something larger than themselves! Well, maybe nothing that big. Like many of the relationships in my life over the years someone whom I once considered an enemy became an ally. Funny how things work like that sometimes. It just goes to show you that it’s never a good idea to burn bridges, and you should always try to keep an open mind. I’ll give you a sneak peak of the drawings I did for an upcoming story that will be featured on Something Awful in the near future.

Yes, there are skeletons in my closet! I won’t reveal the context of these drawings, you’ll be able to find out soon enough when the story is published on Something Awful. I’ll just say that I had a lot of fun drawing these, as I’ve had a life long fascination with the dark, occult and otherworldly things. I’ve been drawing them since before I can remember, and I try to work them into my art whenever I can. Whenever you see something of that nature in Black Snow there’s a very good chance that I’m the one who suggested it or slyly snuck it in. Along the same vein, I love Halloween and I’m excited that it is rapidly approaching. The holiday has taken on a whole new twist for me as I’m now able to share it with my son, so it is even more fun.
