Day 49

We kick off Video Game Week with Day 49 of the #365daychallenge with one of my favorite recent games, Hollow Knight. I really enjoy Metroidvania style indie games, and this is one of the best. A really beautiful style and subtle storytelling. I will say it is really hard. Maybe a bit too hard with some of the bosses. I’ve been playing more indie games over the last couple of years and often enjoy them more than the triple A titles.

I really like the way this one turned. One of my favorite marker drawings I’ve done. It was a full page drawing, so I wasn’t able to scan it fully. But you get most of it here, just about a half inch of the right cut off. I’m actually thinking about hanging this one up in my game room.
