Day 113

Day 113 of the #365drawingchallenge is a request for Superman. This one is for Uncle Andrew who has recently had several surgeries related to his Crohn’s Disease. There is a GoFundMe to help cover his medical expenses at https://www.gofundme.com/vcpqu-surgery-needed

I’ve never been a Superman fan. Too squeaky clean wholesome, and just plain bland. There’s just not much interesting there. I’ve seen some takes that make him somewhat more interesting, but overall I’ve just never gotten into him. Then you have Batman as the other side of the coin, and he is just so much cooler. I look for more flawed heroes or anti-heroes in my comics.
