Day 176

Day 176 of the #365drawingchallenge is a request for Cuphead and Mugman with the Devil looming in the background. My daughter asked me to draw this based off the vinyl toys I have displayed in my game room. I love this game, even though it is frustratingly hard. It is just beautiful and goes full tilt into the 1930’s animation style. There is no other game like it. And it’s all the better for it. I will admit that I haven’t beaten it, I got to the King Dice boss and basically gave up. It just sucks to lose over and over again, but it does feel amazing when you finally win. I just don’t have the time to dedicate to master it. I’m almost surprised I got as far as I did. I do hope to finally beat it some day.

Anyway, it was a lot of fun to draw. I love this old school devil design, and it was always really interesting how these dark figures featured into the seemingly hyper upbeat old cartoons.
