Day 227

Day 227 of the #365drawingchallenge is Ash from Evil Dead. I love the Evil Dead movies, and Bruce Campbell in general. I loved his book and found his breakdown of being a working class actor fascinating. Evil Dead was the first DVD I ever bought, and it had an amazing amount of great bonus content, including amazing commentary. I even went to the Evil Dead musical for my anniversary. And I had a poster similar to this in my room as a teen. So you can say I’m a pretty big fan. And I really had a lot of fun drawing this. Originally I planned on making it black and white with just the red of the blood, but I opted for muted colors instead with bright red blood.
