Day 233

Day 233 of the #365drawingchallenge is Homelander from The Boys. I’ve never read The Boys, Alex was always a really big fan though and he’d often pick it up on our comic book store trips and tell me about it. I really enjoyed season one of the show, and the Homelander in particular. He is really close to our original vision for the Lone Wolf before we made him more silly for his comic strip. The idea was a pompous celebrity with a dangerous dark side just below the surface, and that is realized to great effect here. He is so good at being charming one moment then disturbingly creepy the next. He was my favorite part of the show.
