Day 289

Day 289 of the #365drawingchallenge continues #31DaysOfHalloween with Michael Myers from Halloween. These are my wife’s favorite horror movies. They are pretty fun, and really cemented the masked slasher genre on pop culture. I’ve never been super into them though. They are fine, and I enjoyed the recent weird sequel reboot. I even kind of liked the Rob Zombie reboots. The thing I think Michael may have over Jason is the body language, and I love the head tilt. It is a great creepy pose, and I think Michael may do it better than anyone. So of course I wanted to use that here. And as the movies went on the mask became a bit more visually interesting by becoming more distressed. Fun Fact: My son is going to be Michael Myers this year.
