Hail to the King

I’ve been focused on Optimistically Cynical for the last month and I missed doing something more along the lines of art prints. I wanted to do a cool design that would work for shirts and merch, and I thought of a skull wearing a tilted crown with a banner under it. Of course I like drawing skulls, and I’ve always thought tilted crowns look really cool. I wouldn’t mind doing a more cartoonish take on the same image with a floating crown, because that was also in my mind. I wanted to use a pretty limited color palette that really just drew your eye to the gold. I think it looks pretty damn cool. It would make a pretty cool tattoo with a little work.
