Super Mario Skull

This was a fun one. I kind of had it in my mind, but then my son suggested it, along with Sonic. And by now you should know I’m all about that Nintendo life, and I’m a huge fan of the Mario games. This one is blowing up a little bit on Instagram already, with a lot of people throwing out suggestions for more skulls. I may have stumbled onto something special here, marrying my love for drawing skulls and pop culture. Which I’ll admit is a little weird. But people seem to like it and accept that I’m drawing our beloved characters after they’ve died. So I think I’ll stick with it as a theme for the rest of the month. We’ll see where it goes from there. Who knows, maybe this will be my thing. “Oh, I know you. You’re the skull guy.” You’re damn right.
