Sonic Skull

As I mentioned with my Dr. Robotnik drawing, I love Sonic the Hedgehog. This was an interesting one to draw because the character is so iconic and cartoony, so if I went with a more realistic hedgehog skull it would not have been recognizable. Maybe if I made it blue or something. But I decided to really stick with the shape of the cartoon character and just draw that as a skull even if it didn’t make the most sense with something like the eye socket size and shape. And I wanted to incorporate the quills, but not draw them as bones or just a single spike or something. So a lot of interpretation here. And I like the way it turned out.
