Struggle and Strive

Another day another skeleton. What can I say, they are fun to draw. And I think they look really cool with solid colors. The quote here is another song lyric. I’m a lyric guy. I listen closely to what songs are saying and try to figure out their meaning. And I find a lot that I feel are pretty witty. This is from a Hank Williams song you might know from a cut scene in The Last of Us or the theme from The Life and Times of Tim. I’m not a big country music fan, but I do like some. Usually it’s more the rockabilly stuff than straight country. I’m a big Johnny Cash fan. I do like Hank Williams Sr. though. His songs are fantastically written and the way he sings is powerful. He has this great way of sustaining a note and making you feel everything he says. He’s a lot like Cash in that way. It is about the most classic country music you can get, and I’ll Never Get Out Of This World Alive is a classic song about having constant bad luck.
