Fawful

A favorite character, one of the villains from the Mario and Luigi RPG series. He’s a boisterous, absurd bad guy full of bravado and a bit of insanity. I recently started replaying the first game in the series Superstar Saga for the Game Boy Advance, and the humor holds up well. They are really fun games that add a lot of character to the Mario universe, although I haven’t played the last couple. This was fun to draw because the character is so oddly designed, and his appearance changes a bit from game to game. So there were a lot of choices to make. I wouldn’t mind drawing him again with a different spin at some point, but this came out basically exactly as I imagined it. Even though I often prefer black and white I’m also a fan of bright, neon colors. So I really like the way this turned out as a total drawing.
