Make It So

I must admit that I’m not the biggest Star Trek fan. I don’t dislike it or anything, I’m just not that drawn to it. I’ve seen some episodes from the various series and several of the movies, and they are fan. It’s just not something I ever sat down and really paid attention to. I don’t know why. Maybe if I tried watching it now I’d be more into it. For whatever reason I woke up with this image in my head and really wanted to draw it. I even have a few other Star Trek things I’d like to draw. The Next Generation was the show that was on when I was a kid and it’s probably my favorite version. I do like the classic original as well, but TNG is the one I’m most familiar with. I mean it’s Patrick Stewart, what’s not to like? I think it’s kind of cool when older properties find a whole new life on the internet with meme culture bringing new eyes to the product.
