About Black Snow Comics

Black Snow Comics started back in the late 90s when two good friends (Alex Siquig and Michael Balistreri) decided to start writing and drawing a comic book together after seeing the movie Mystery Men. Black Snow was the comic book’s title, as well as the main character’s super hero name. Being their first title, Black Snow Comics became the company name and internet handle. Since then they self published web comics, comic books, comic strips and graphic novels.

Over time Alex left the world of comics, and Michael remained drawing under the Black Snow Comics name. Gradually the focus switched from comics to commissions, art prints and other freelance projects. The name remains as a tribute to where it all started, and who knows, where things might return to some day.
