Day 138

Day 138 of the #365drawingchallenge is a request from my son for Jeffy from Super Mario Logan on YouTube. I drew this because my son really wanted me to. He’s been asking for months, and I did it for his birthday. But I really didn’t want to. I hate SML and try to stop him from watching it. I think it makes fun of people, in this case the mentally handicapped which I am very sensitive too. It also often has strong racist and misogynistic aspects. It’s just trash, and it lures kids in with the aesthetics of puppets. Not to mention taking characters he doesn’t own, mainly from Nintendo, and presenting them in some pretty bad ways. So yeah, I drew it but I don’t condone it. I’ve been hoping the fad will die down or YouTube will stop promoting it. Hopefully that will happen.
