Day 139

Day 139 of the #365drawingchallenge is a request for Freakazoid! I liked this cartoon as a kid. I thought it was pretty funny and I liked the surreal humor. It was a nice companion to stuff like the Tick or Earthworm Jim cartoons, and definitely my style. Subverted parody type superhero comedies were a big part of what inspired me to start my own comics. That said, it is not a show I’ve thought about or seen since basically when it originally aired. As much as I enjoyed it the show just kind of came and went for me. Looking at the character today to draw this, I will say that I may have subliminally been thinking of it when I came up with the Lone Wolf’s look.
