Day 211

Day 211 of the #365drawingchallenge is Shazam, AKA the OG Captain Marvel. If you don’t know the history there, go look it up. It’s well documented. I finally saw the movie yesterday and really enjoyed it. DC live action movies have finally started to work in more humor like Marvel, and I think it makes them better.

I don’t have a ton of background with Shazam, mainly just seeing him pop up as a peripheral character in the bigger DC heroes comics or shows. It’s a pretty fun concept though. It does feel pretty old fashioned in the story and design, and I tried to reflect that a bit here with the old school comic dots and lines.
