Day 255

Day 255 of the #365drawingchallenge is the crass, always angry private eye, Duckman. This was a fairly obscure cartoon from the 90s that I really liked but seems to have been largely forgotten. It was pretty ahead of it’s time and I think if they made it now there would be a much larger audience for it. It was kind of a proto- Bojack Horseman, which is why I decided to follow up that drawing with this one. Adult targeted cartoons just weren’t as prominent in the mid 90s, and USA network was kind of an odd home for it. Of course I haven’t really watched it since it was on TV and I was a kid, so I don’t really know how well it holds up. Maybe I’ll seek it out and find out.
