Day 299

Day 299 of the #365drawingchallenge continues #31DaysOfHalloween with Christopher Lee as Dracula from the Hammer films. I already talked about the Hammer films yesterday with Frankenstein, and truth be told I’ve seen a lot more of those movies than the Dracula ones. Lee is amazing as Dracula. He has an undeniable presence that works perfectly for the role. And he can be really creepy. I really love the way this one turned out. I was inspired by some of the accent mood lighting they use in those films and thought I would take it to another level while also trying to pay homage to classic horror comics. And I think the results are pretty great. This just really draws my eye in and feels like one of the more compelling things I’ve come up with for this challenge.
