Day 354

Day 354 of the #365drawingchallenge is the half-goat, half-demon who will soon come for all the bad little boys and girls, Krampus. Krampus is something I barely heard of growing up, but has really exploded in popularity over the last ten years or so, to the point where he’s largely known in pop culture. Which is really weird given the concept, but the appeal of a sort of anti Santa is strong. People like polar opposites, that’s why you see so many of them in stories. Sometimes they are very overt, sometimes more subtle allegories. This was really fun to draw. I just like drawing demons and monsters because it gives you a lot of unique characteristics and freedom you don’t get just drawing people.
