Donky Kong Skull

Another day, another dead Nintendo character. This one was requested by someone on Instagram. At first I was going to draw Yoshi, bu then I thought it would be fun to draw a gorilla skull. Pretty sure I’ve never done that before. Though I have drawn live gorillas several times. I love how these drawings play off nostalgia in an interesting way, since they are beloved childhood characters for many around my age, but here they are presented as having died. It’s kind of an interesting dynamic that people want to see these characters deceased. But judging by the amount of attention they’ve already gotten people seem to be into it.
