I can’t say I’m the biggest Edgar Allan Poe fan, I don’t sit around reading his stuff regularly, but I definitely appreciate it all and his whole vibe. I can sort of place myself in the mindset of the time period he lived in and gain something from looking at his work in that context. I do like things based off his work, and I have read most of his major works. Lately I’ve always watched a few biographies about him and he had a fascinating, though fairly tragic life. He is the epitome of the tortured artist that wasn’t really appreciated until after his death.
This marks my jump back into the daily drawing game. I missed it and I felt like it made me a lot more productive. I will still make an effort to finish Paranormal Pinkerton soon and keep Optimistically Cynical going. So it will be a lot of drawing, but I’m looking forward to it.
